About this Project
This outdoor transformation was undertaken alongside Kerryn Dunshea Interior Design. The brief was to create usable and safe outdoor spaces for the clients to entertain guests and their teenaged children.
The first stage of the project involved significant excavation and demolition of the site in readiness for implementation of the conceptual drawings provided by Kerryn. Rendered concrete walls were constructed to form the new courtyard and lawn levels.
SSL Distributors CMP porcelain tiles were laid as the surface to the courtyard and spa areas with aluminium drainage channels to convey any water runoff.
A custom fireplace designed and built by Gary (our Project Manager) is the centrepiece of the courtyard. Abodo ‘Vulcan’ timber was used to clad the bench seat, cabinetry and woodshed. The Dekton hearth and bench top were meticulously planned and installed in-situ to tie seamlessly into the cladding, the fireplace and built-in BBQ.
Our clients were delighted with the upgrade to their outdoor living area and we were too.
