About this Project

In the middle of 2019, Karori Childcare Centre reached out to Sole Landscapes to undertake redevelopment of the playspace as per the set of drawings and specifications put together by the great team at Get Outside.

Come early 2020 and straddled around the lockdown period for Covid-19, the team were able to complete the project as per the plans provided and to the budget set out by the centre from the very first discussions.

Managing the intrigued miniatures running around during play, we were able to ensure that the project was undertaken in an isolated environment with a strong focus on the health and safety of the pupils, staff and parents.

Upon completion, the play space provided a fun experience incorporating running water, plants, sand and climbing logs. The safety measures were designed and installed to match the natural theme, example being the eucalyptus balustrade poles.

We loved undertaking this project and we especially loved the daily warm reception from the lovely pupils, staff and parents.

We love our work, you’ll love our work.
