About this Project
Teaming up with Noble Fox Landscape Design, Sole Landscapes’ brief was to oversee transformation from this once stale 1990s subdivision house into the perfect kids and parents backyard retreat.
The in situ concrete walls and improved drainage allowed for the non-negotiable cricket pitch whilst the clever planting palette fools you into thinking the match is set in the middle of a forest.
Combining kwila timber and concrete finish on the patios and the fireplace adds to the natural environment and lighting ensures this is not lost on the eye during the evening.
A play fort rising from the rear of the section is the escape for the kids, which is tactically positioned far away from the centrepoint of the adults area, the fireplace and outdoor dining area.
We loved bringing Louise’s beautiful plan to life. We’re sure she loved our work too.
